The moment arrived when one of the characters on the show, Cyrus Goodman reveals his secret crush on one of his classmates named TJ Kippen.
The series finale ended the show’s three season run and creators have said that this season will be its last. The show has constantly been a flag bearer of the LGBTQ community with the character Cyrus Goodman being the gay character.
He was the first Disney character to speak the sentence “I’m gay” on the Disney channel show.

After the series finale aired, fans rejoiced and took to social media to praise the show’s great way of representing gay couples.
Moreover, people requested the creators to make a separate show, based on the relationship between the gay couple, which would certainly get high ratings.
The scene featuring the two gay characters will clearly resonate with kids who are confused about their sexuality and help them deal with the situation in a much better way.
The actor who plays Cyrus, Joshua Rush, said he was overwhelmed with the positive response towards the show and confirmed that the relationship between Cyrus and TJ is now confirmed.
Luke Mullen who plays the character of TJ also said that he was honoured to be among the cast of this great show which will definitely inspire thousands of people around the world to deal with their identities.
Terri Minsky, who is the creator of the show, said that she wanted to do something that would make the LGBTQ community proud and feel more represented. She further dedicated the finale to the LGBTQ community.
Before Andi Mack, Good Luck Charlie was the first ever show to feature a lesbian couple way back in 2014. The show had a scene where in a playdate between two kids, one of the kids is show to have two moms.
With more inspiring moments like these, the LGBTQ family will definitely feel prouder and people around the world will learn how to be okay with their sexuality.
