Coronavirus pandemic has given birth to a panic.
Amid the panic people recently went crazy and bought all the toilet paper.
This created massive fuss and several fights were registered due to the same. Now several big supermarkets have called in police officers to guard the toilet paper aisles.
On Monday morning, some shoppers claimed they saw police officers inside Costco of Fargo, North Dakota guarding large bulk shipments of toilet paper.
Chris Berg, a reporter tweeted “Went to Costco this morning and saw police officers guarding a large shipment. Turns out it was a shipment of 750 packages of toilet papers.”
“The store was sold out with toilet papers completely in just 90 minutes. They had only allowed one pack per customer.
A customer recorded a video of the place. The video shows the shelves filled with toilet paper packages in bulk being guarded by three guards. They were keeping a strict eye on people and did not allow anyone to grab more than 1 pack at once.
The panic in the market has come after the government of several states has announced a lockdown.
The lockdown is being used as a method to cut down the spread of the mighty coronavirus. Hundreds and hundreds of people have already been found affected by it.
The growing pandemic has only caused more and more fear in people. Regarding the same, the mega stores like and grocery chains like Walmart are only open for a couple of hours throughout the day.
In the rest of the hours, they are making an attempt to keep their employees safe. They also clean and sanitize the stores daily. And fill the shelves every single day.
Quarantine is inevitable and following the same, people are stocking up in their houses.
Businesses have been closed down. Schools and universities have announced breaks. Several pubs and restraints have also closed to ensure social distancing.
