An elderly couple from Cuba, Filiberto, aged seventy and Celina, aged sixty-four set the stage of America’s Got Talent on fire by their dirty dancing moves.
In the episode of June 5, the couple decided to dance on Jason Derulo’s tunes of Talk Dirty To Me. Seeing the couple dancing like that the judges were left surprised and shocked and the audience was just simply, uncomfortable.
At the beginning of their audition, they were standing on the stage, with their hands wrapped around together, and started the performance by giving each other a kiss on lips. In addition, Filiberto was getting a bit teary-eyed as well, but everyone thought that it is a normal reaction to the man who is standing next to the woman he loves.
But that kiss was a warning of what was about to come up next. As the song started, they began dancing, and their moves were far away from normal ones. They consisted of some grinding paired up with some gyrating and bumping.
Even though the duo was aged enough to be someone’s grandparents, they did not let their age affect their performance.
There was a point when Celina even twerked, which got a very loud response out of the judge, Howie Mendel. Moreover, it looked like Celina’s husband loved that move of his wife, because seconds later his face was in his wife’s bosom. The moment was recorded in the camera in very slow motion.
The dance sequence was getting R-rated, which was proved by the fact that a few seconds later the judge, Mel B covered her face with her hands. The couple, however, did not look bothered by her lack of interest as they continued their raunchy moves.
Mel B was very bothered by the performance, but the same could not be said for other judges like Tyra Banks and the host who said, “This kind of love is actually what I am looking for!”
Other judges appreciated their performance as well. Heidi Klum said: “I want to be that lucky too, to do something of this kind, and find someone who would want to do this.”
Simon Cowell, another judge, said: “You surprised me, and I liked it!”
