Things usually go well but there are times when children have a meltdown.

That’s exactly what Lori Gabriel experienced when she and her son were on a United Airlines flight.

No matter how much she tried, she couldn’t get her son Braysen to sit down. Fortunately, airline employees knew exactly what to do!

Lori said the crews have been amazing to her son. Her Facebook post gained thousands of likes and shares.

“So my little flyer (he’s autistic but normally loves to fly) didn’t have such a good flight home. Trying to get him to stay seated was impossible he wanted to sit on the floor in the hall and in first class.”

For some reasons, Braysen didn’t want to sit that day. He wanted to walk up and down the aisle until he found the perfect spot to lie down. He also disturbed a man in first class by messing with him.

The male passenger told Lori not to worry about it but the mother knew her son’s behavior wasn’t right. On most flights, airlines require passengers to remain buckled in most of the time during the trip.

“It was time for takeoff and Braysen had slipped out of his seatbelt and he wanted to sit on the floor. So, we were trying to get him back into his chair and get his seatbelt back on, and that’s when he had his meltdown and started kicking, screaming and hitting,” Lori said to Fox News.

She was so worried that the airlines would kick them out of the flight but the staff members were very understanding. They even found a solution to her problem.

“Huge thank you to united airlines they accommodated his needs, made sure we were all ok, worked around where he choose to sit,” Lori wrote.

Whenever the seatbelt sign was off, the crew let him sit anywhere he desired. They even gave him a blanket to keep him warm and comfortable. The staff also allowed him to post up by the flight attendant station to watch over everyone like he was the person in charge.

“To the man in first class seat 6C you rock thanks for playing with Braysen and not minding him kicking your seat or messing with you! He loved your high fives!” Lori wrote.

One passenger also wrote a heart-touching letter for her.

Everything made her feel like everything will be okay, even in the middle of her son’s meltdown.

It could’ve been one of the worst flights of her life but the reaction of the crews and everyone on the plane made her day.
