Ron Hyde was not living a so-called easy to live life.

The Air force veteran had so much on his plate he had been dealing with. The old man did not have anyone he could call family and he had been fighting with cancer for the longest time.

The hospital treatment, chemotherapy, medications, etc, had become a lot for him. He knew he is not going to survive for a very long time but whatever time he had left in this world, he wanted to live that with nothing else on his mind so he moved in his house back from the hospital.

The veteran had come back to his house but the apartment was just an empty place with an old rugged mattress and a $25 chair. But he was confined with happiness because he had his house to count as his possessions.

When the old man went out to get himself the chair, the chair was too huge and he could not find any vehicle to fit the chair in. So a woman who wanted to help her posted about his need on Facebook.

Within two days there were so many people coming into and going out of his house bringing all kind of stuff and furniture for his house. He now had a new bed to sleep on; his kitchen had all the equipment he might need to prepare his meal.

And his kitchen even had food that he could eat now. There were loading trucks parked under his building and the man just could not keep the amount of joy buried in.

He kneeled down on the kitchen floor, with his eyes filled with tears to thank God for the blessing he had just received.

The veteran deserved the little happiness the community was able to give him. He was alone and was living the last days of his life.
