A rapper isn’t really a rapper if he can’t show off his ride, right? In that case, Drake could be the biggest rapper of all as he went on Instagram to show off a massive customized jumbo jet that he can proudly call his own.

While private planes may be normal for bigwigs, not everyone can claim to have his/her own personal Boeing 767 cargo plane. Drake even trumps John Travolta who “only” owns a Boeing 707.

In the short clip, the plane can be seen proudly carries the “Air Drake” livery and the beginnings of a fuck off owl, the symbol of OVO (October’s Very Own) which is Drake’s record label.

But he didn’t buy it just for the exterior and the inside of the plane is fit for a king, complete with golden sofas and walls.

In typical mumble rap fashion, the 32-year-old rapper mumbles a few indecipherable words of explanation while strolling around the aircraft. But we can clearly hear him when he says, “No rental, no timeshare, no co-owners.”

The Grammy Award-winner then points to Ajay Virmani, Cargojet’s President, and CEO, saying: “That guy made it happen right there, that’s the man.”

It turns out the rapper had just entered into a partnership with the Canadian company.

Virmani said in a statement: “We are very excited to partner with Drake as our ambassador and assisting him with his logistical needs and requirements.”

“We have had a lengthy relationship with Drake and this partnership has grown organically between both parties. Cargojet and Drake are both great Canadian successes, we are thrilled to be partnering together.”

While the statement “assisting with his logistical needs” could be the understatement of the century, it’s no surprise that Drake is quite happy with the partnership given the form the logistical assistance has taken.

He said: “Supporting homegrown businesses has always been a top priority of mine, so when an opportunity came up to get involved with a great Canadian company I was honored to do so.”

While there’s no doubt that having a jumbo jet at your beck and call is the height of travel leisure, Drake’s own personal carbon footprint has gone up several notches. Drake even hints at the problem of climate change in his song “Heat of the Moment.”

Part of the song goes: “And all the cops are still hangin’ out at the doughnut shops,

“Talkin’ ’bout how the weather’s changin’.”

“The ice is meltin’ as if the world is endin’.”

Still, that’s one cool ride Drake has.
