Over the years, medical science has been improving every day, it is nothing to wonder about hat each day, we humans are able to find a cure that we never had before of a disease that is affecting hundreds assn thousands in the world.
When it comes to contraceptives, most of them have been for women to take. For man, till now there was only one solution to getting the surgical treatment done which is scary to most of the people. For women, there are several different contraceptive measures like pills, surgeries, etc.
For the first time, medical science has come up with a contraceptive injection for men.
The injections have already been tested and now they are under the health authorities to get them certified. The injections will be launched for people in the next 6 months.
The injection will last the potency in men for 13 years at most.
The scientists who led the trials, Dr. Sharma, said “The product is ready and we are just waiting for it to get certified by Drugs Controller (DCGI).
For the trials of the injection, in the third level clinical tests, over 303 candidates were taken under the study and the reading of the text which shows a 97.3% success rate. Also, till now we have not noticed any kind of side effects of the injection.”
If the drug is approved, it will be the very first of its kind to come out to the public. For the same, it is under certification for now.
Drug Controller of India, VG Somani says “this is the very first we have developed in India and this is why we have to be extra careful before we send it out to the world. We are not leaving any freckle of doubt in the procedure.”
