Adorable one-week-old cheetahs have captured the hearts of the people after they were spotted proudly walking around a national park in Tanzania.
The trio of cubs, which will one day grow into ultra-fast predators, was caught on camera by a wildlife photographer Paul Mahagi at Serengeti National Park.
Fortunately for us, the cubs are still more interested in exploring the wilderness than in high-speed chases and hunting, meaning that the photographer was able to come up with some adorable photos.
As seen in the pictures taken by 39-year-old Mahagi, the young cheetahs appear fearless as they glance at the camera to have their pictures taken.
“I’m very happy with how these turned out. I never knew I would get such a great expression. It looks like he is saying hello to the world. The cheetahs are very cute,” the photographer said.
As he added, he had spent six days waiting in ambush to capture the perfect shots of the cubs. Nevertheless, the long wait was more than worth it according to Mahagi.
In another not-so-adorable photoshoot, two massive sea lions were caught on camera resting on a tiny boat just off the coast of Washington by Joshua Phillips who was riding his boat as he passed by.
As seen in Mr. Phillips’ footage, the two giants appeared to be chilling while the boat was sinking due to the animals’ overwhelming weight.
While it isn’t clear who the owner of the boat is, it is definitely unusual to see two giant sea lions casually relaxing on such a small vessel.
The largest species of sea lions can reach up to 11 feet in length and weigh up to a whopping 2,500 pounds. In addition, male sea lions are typically much larger than the females.
As the viewers suggested after the footage went viral, the two sea lions could be members of Stellar sea lions, the largest species of sea lions which thrives in the Pacific.
