A video of a cat recently went viral as it shows a fat feline named Cinderblock using just one paw to work out on a treadmill as part of her weight loss routine.
Northshore Veterinary Hospital in Washington shared the adorable video on social media, and Cinderblock instantly became an internet sensation.
Since then, the vet has periodically shared updates of the extremely large cat’s progress, including a video of her walking on treadmill on all fours!
Internet users just can’t look away from this adorable cat who, in the first video, was just sitting on the edge of the exercise machine and using only one paw to move.
“You working out?” the vet can be heard asking in the background.
According to her vet, Cinderblock is on a ‘weight loss journey.’
The hospital wrote on Instagram: “This fabulous feline is obese, and it is affecting her quality of life. We are helping her achieve weight loss through a prescription diet and exercise. She is not on board with the exercise (laugh emoji).”

Cinderblock immediately won thousands of hearts. One Twitter user wrote: “IN THIS HOUSE WE CHEER ON CINDERBLOCK YOU GOT THIS BB DO THAT WORKOUT.”
Another posted: “Can we please keep getting updates of Cinderblock’s progress? She is the most precious thing in my life now.”
Many people said that the cat’s struggle was relatable, with one retweeting the video and wrote: “me trying my hardest.”
Some people shared how emotionally invested they were in Cinderblock’s weight loss regiment. One wrote: “I’m emotional invested in a cat’s weight loss journey on instagram. We will get through this, Cinderblock.”
