An adoptive mother of 5 siblings shared the heartbreaking story of her son’s traumatic past on Facebook that left everyone in tears.
Aubren Dudley adopted her 9-year-old son through foster care. Recently, she noticed something strange and talked about it. What her son replied forced her to share the story online to educate people.

The 26-year-old mother told that her son was about to eat raw ramen noodles straight out of the packet and when she tried to stop him, he said that he developed a taste for it after preparing it in his old home as his parents wouldn’t feed him.point 311 | 1
He didn’t know how to boil the water so he would eat raw noodles from the packet.
The mother then asked him to tell about his traumatic past which the mother shared on Facebook later.
She wrote: ‘He said that they wouldn’t feed him due to being passed out (you can guess why) and he would have to make dinner for himself and his brothers ( 2 and 4 months when they came to us).’
‘He said that all the money they had would be spent on cigarettes and other fun things and so he would find the change in their van and would buy Ramen packets at the store down the street.’
The mother then said that she shared the post to educate other people that trauma is not healed immediately. She wrote: ‘An adoption doesn’t erase the past or the memories, kids can change, they will change with love, and never give up on a kid because “they are hard”.’
The post instantly went viral and left people teary-eyed. Internet users thanked the mother for sharing the heart-wrenching post as it will educate people that it takes time to heal so they never give up on their kids.
