‘Two And A Half Men’ Star Conchata Ferrell Transferred To Long-Term Care Facility


Conchata Ferrell, the 77-year-old American actress who appeared in five TV sitcoms, has been transferred to a long-term care facility after staying in the intensive care unit for one month following a heart attack.

Ferrell, who is best known for her role as Berta the housekeeper in ‘Two and a Half Men’, was hospitalized back in May following a series of health complications.

According to the star’s husband, Arnie, who opened up about his wife’s condition in an interview with TMZ, Conchata was hospitalized in May after showing symptoms of an infection she allegedly developed at the end of last year.

Following several days spent at the hospital, the Emmy nominee suffered a heart attack that prolonged her stay at the facility for one more month.

After her condition had stabilized, the actress has been moved to a “respiratory unit” at a long-term care facility according to her husband.

According to the TMZ report, the 77-year-old Hearts Afire actress is in a semi-conscious state whereas she is allegedly aware of her surroundings but can’t communicate.

To make matters worse, Arnie explained that he’s not able to visit his wife in the facility due to restrictions imposed because of the coronavirus pandemic.

While the husband confirmed they’re hoping for the best outcome, he expressed it could be a long time before Conchata shows any signs of recovery due to her condition being neurological.
