An old bright yellow camper sat seemingly unattended.
With no visible inhabitant or owner, it was written off as an old-fashioned eyesore.
Though it had been abandoned for almost 60 years, someone had been taking care of the 1953 trailer.
Unknown to the explorer who finally opened the trailer’s doors after believing it to be dilapidated, the trailer is a perfectly preserved retro wonderland.
What makes this camper so unique is that it’s not a blend of retro charm with modern functionality, like many throwback trailers are today. The appliances are decades-old originals and have been kept in immaculate condition.

While many trailers are used just for camping or short-term stays, this one is set up for full-time living. It comes complete with this cozy bed and reading light.
It may be small, but the interior makes a big statement. Even people who don’t enjoy the dated design can appreciate a time capsule like this when they find one.
The trailer is anything but abandoned now. The new owner takes care of the home and maintains its 1950’s charm.
