Courteney Cox has revealed that she ‘messed up a lot’ as she now regrets her past use of face fillers.
The Friends star has recently shared her skincare routine as well as her perspective on aging.
When she was asked by Gloss Angeles Beauty Podcast co-hosts Sara Tan and Kirbie Johnson to name and explain her biggest beauty regret, the 58-year-old immediately said it was fillers.
Cox said the first treatment created a ‘domino effect’ that made her want to get more.
“You don’t realize that you look a little off, so then you keep doing more, ’cause you look normal to yourself,” she said.
The actress also said that she was not completely aware of the way she appeared with fillers.
“You look in the mirror and go, ‘That looks good.’ You think and you don’t realize what it looks like to the outside person.”
Cox said that she regrets “just doing too many fillers and having them removed” but she is now thankful that she managed to get the fillers dissolved.
“Thinking that I was getting older when I was really young, that’s just a bummer, a waste of time,” she continued.
“I messed up a lot and now, luckily, I was able to reverse most of that, now I’m actually just older.”
The Shining Vale actress also revealed that she even wanted to share before and after photos from her filler treatment with the caption: “Oh, this is what my friend was talking about.”
But she said that her publicist was against it.
“I look at pictures of me (after fillers) from when I thought I looked okay, and I can’t believe it,” she added.
