Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez rush to a hospital after the actor’s mother fell off the dock and required stitches to her leg, only hours before the couple’s wedding celebration.
Photos obtained by Daily Mail show the couple arriving at the hospital after Christopher Anne Boldt, Ben’s mother, cut her leg at her son’s Riceboro property.
JLo was seen wearing a summer dress while carrying a Dior bag while her husband sported a T-shirt and shorts while smoking a cigarette.
The ambulance rushed into the Riceboro property and spent around 20 minutes there before taking the actor’s mother to the hospital.
Ben, 50, reportedly found his mother and called the ambulance while JLo, 53, was later seen after the medical emergency at the $8 million estate.
The flow of vans containing party items and musical equipment were interrupted after the incident.
A source told Daily Mail that the incident was ‘not serious.’
Affleck and Lopez were set to start celebrating their marriage, with the main ceremony on Saturday and a family barbecue party on Sunday.
The dramatic start to their celebrations came as guests started arriving, with one friend caught up in a line of vehicles stopped by security.
On Thursday, before Lopez’s weekend wedding celebrations, she was spotted shopping in Georgia with her children.
Affleck also accompanied the group and was seen wearing a beige shirt and a baseball cap.
JLo previously admitted to having a rocky relationship with her mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez, in her Netflix documentary Halftime.
“She (Rodriguez) did what she had to do to survive, and it made her strong, but it also made her tough. She beat the s*** out of you,” she expressed.
She also shared how she moved out at the age of 18 after having an argument with her mother.
“We got into a bad fight one night and I just left,” she said.
But the two now have a close relationship, with Rodriguez telling the View’s Sunny Hostin that she always knew Affleck was her daughter’s true love.
