Fans are calling upon Elliot Page to be cast as The Flash as new rumors hint at Ezra Miller being dropped from the show.
Ezra Miller was reportedly dropped from a series of other DC projects and that’s why many are speculating that removal from The Flash is on the cards too.
But some fans do want 29-year-old Ezra to stay, even if it’s a recasting for a solo role in The Flash movie. But keener are they to witness Elliot Page in the new role, adding how he would be a perfect fit.
Ezra identifies as a non-binary and for that reason, prefers to use pronouns like they/them. It was shocking to see a huge restraining come forward involving them. The order had accusations related to rubbing up against a 12-year-old non-binary while threatening the child’s mother using a gun, right after slamming her with accusations of cultural appropriation.
For now, it’s not clear if The Flash is going to undergo any major change in terms of reshuffling for projects in the future. However, fans do believe that Elliot would be a better pick and that’s why they seem to be having their say on Twitter.
One person was reportedly caught mentioning: “Day one for begging DC Comics to have Ezra Miller replaced with Elliot Page in the Flash!”
Similarly, comments like that were prevalent on social media, clearly showing how the young actor is a clear favorite for the role with many attaching so many hopes and aspirations with him being cast.
Elliot is already starring in The Umbrella Academy, which is stated to be the third series to be seen across Netflix by June end.
Just last month, Deadline released a number of reports which confirmed Ezra’s removal from a series of DC projects but there are still plans to see them in the leading role of The Flast for 2023.
