The administration of Ayresome Primary School has requested the parents of the students to dress appropriately when they are visiting the school to drop or pick their children and especially avoid wearing dressing gowns and pajamas near school premises.
According to head teacher Charlotte Haylock, the number of parents who wear dressing gowns and loungewear while coming to school in the morning increases daily.
The school has strict dress codes for the students.
The school’s administration would appreciate it if the parents also dress properly because parents are the actual role models for their children.Some strange attire choices were observed in the previous months, including fleecy teddy bear night wears, comfy pajamas under warm coats, jogging bottoms and lounge wears, and dressing gowns with belts.
This dress code is not setting a good example for children to follow, as every child and staff member is appropriately dressed at that time.
The school at Middlesbrough has strict rules for students regarding their outfits.
All the students with ages ranging from two to eleven appear in their proper uniforms every day.
All pupils are restricted to wear any jewelry item except a single stud per ear. Wearing a wristwatch is also prohibited as every classroom has a wall clock.Only black shoes are allowed, but some leniency is shown in winters, and wearing black and red books is not objected to but only in that particular season. All pupils can wear white polo shirts with school trousers, and a sweatshirt with the school’s name mentioned clearly.
