Former first lady Melania Trump took to Twitter to share a Valentine’s Day message.
She included three heartwarming photos of herself visiting sick kids at The Children’s Inn at the National Institute of Health.
She wrote on Twitter: “On this #ValentinesDay, I think of the brave & inspirational children at @TheChildrensInn @NIH where I visited the past few years.”
“Sending them love & strength, today & everyday. #HappyValentinesDay,” Mrs. Trump added.
The former first lady has spent her past three Valentine’s Day visiting the kids in The Children’s Inn in Maryland, where she participated in different crafts and art projects with the children.
However, this year is different as Mrs. Trump and her husband former President Donald Trump settle into post-White House life at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
Mrs. Trump previously announced that she opened her post-White house office. According to CNN, she has hired three members of her White House staff to help her organize her new office.
A source told the news outlet that the former first lady “hopes to resurrect her Be Best campaign” to help children deal with cyberbullying.
Mrs. Trump is reportedly enjoying a leisurely pace of life since moving to Mar-a-Lago. Many sources told the publication that she is spending most of her time at spas.
One source who is familiar with her told CNN: “She goes to the spa, has lunch, goes to the spa (again) and has dinner with Donald on the patio.”
Another insider told the network: “It is not unusual for Trump to spend several hours a day there (at the spa), enjoying the benefits at her disposal, often going twice in a 24-hour period, for massages, nail care, facial treatments or other items on the menu.”
Both sources said that Mrs. Trump “has mentally all but left Washington behind, unlike her husband.”
She has kept a low profile since the family vacated the White House weeks ago and returned to Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
