Once little kids enter your life, everything surrounding them is potentially dangerous.
From cabinets to windows, new parents start to baby proof every single furniture and other possible sources of accident.
In fact, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), unintentional injuries happen often in the house, and nearly 70% of the children who die from such accidents are 4 years old and under since they spend most of the time at home. As a result, there are many childproofing methods and devices to keep them from danger.
However, despite what people may think, the video below suggests that baby proofing devices may not be as effective as they would like to be.
The video first shows little boy trying to reach into the lower kitchen cabinets, struggling to get whatever is inside. And the whole time, his dogs are right behind him.

The struggles continues for a while, but just when he finally gets it, his dog snatches it right before the baby puts it in his mouth!
Although the video itself is pretty adorable, it also serves as a reminder that even cabinets with baby proof devices may still be dangerous for the babies.
Had the baby reach in and grab something life-threatening, such as dishwashing detergents, he could have ended up in the hospital – fighting for his life.
Watching this baby trying his best to get a snack is so adorable and hilarious! But again, it shows that parents may need to think about doing a little extra work than simply installing baby-proof devices!
