It will be shocking as well as great news for a father to discover that his child he never knew existed is alive.
A newborn baby girl was found alive in a dumpster in suburban Boca Raton. Fortunately, someone reached there and saved the baby girl’s life.
A pair was walking nearby and heard the voice of the baby’s cries came to her rescue.
According to WPA authorities had arrested the child’s mother who is a 35-year-old woman. During questioning, Rafaelle Alessandra Carbalho Sousa admitted that she gave birth to the child and chucked her daughter into the dumpster after placing her into the bag.
She placed the infant in a white plastic bag with household trash and put her in a dumpster at an apartment complex near Boca Entrada Blvd..
PBSO detectives said the cruel mother went back to confirm if the baby was dead, but didn’t get close because there were people nearby.
Fortunately, bystanders saved the baby and the authorities have charged the mother with child abuse and attempted murder.
Her bail has been denied by the judge. According to The Palm Beach Post, the baby’s father name is Carlos Jimenes Martins.
He had no idea that he has a daughter as his wife hid her pregnancy from him. He picked up his baby girl, Sarah Jimenes Carvalho, in West Palm Beach, said Christian Romaguera, the attorney who helped Martins get his baby girl after she was found in a dumpster.
”Oh my God, you know, she hid this pregnancy from me,”
”Oh my God, I have a baby girl,” Romaguera said.
”God makes us strong, and we’re very happy,” he told WPBF. ”I’m going to name her Sara.”
He added, ”I have to thank God, my community, and everybody who has supported and prayed for me and my family.”
”It looks like little Sara has finally found the perfect home.”
Romaguera agreed, saying, ”He could enjoy having the extra guest at dinner. He truly loves the girl.”
Carlos also shares a 3-year-old son with Rafaelle.
