Donald Trump has taken a new shot at comedian Jimmy Kimmel while presenting at this year’s Kennedy Center honorees with medals.
The 79-year-old American Head of State was seen referring to Kimmel as a horrible performer during the Oval Office ceremony in DC. This was ahead of the Kennedy Center Honors that he hosted yesterday.
Trump shared with reporters present at the event that ‘We have never had any leader hosting the awards’- giving himself a boast of high achievement and standout performance.
‘I am sure they will give me some great reviews, right? You know, they will say some horrible things. He’s just so terrible, and the whole matter was a horrible situation’- the president continued. And in the end, he did share how they’ll be doing fine.
Trump further went on to share more great things about himself and compared himself to past hosts and how his performance was miles ahead of them.
‘Watched some of those people who host, like Jimmy Kimmel. He was horrible, and it’s an embarrassment, he mentioned. In the end, he did raise some eyebrows by mentioning, ‘If I cannot beat out Kimmel in terms of talent then I don’t think I should be the president of this country’- he shared.
