The remains of a missing 14-year-old female were located in Illinois, and this marked the tragic end of a search carried out by authorities recently.
Kylie Toberman was reported missing by her loved ones on November 14, and her remains were found a few hours later. As shared by KSDK, Kylie’s family told local media outlets that the cops found her remains inside an RV that was present behind their home in Vandalia, which is near St. Louis in Missouri.
The victim used to live with her adoptive mother and two sisters. Her step-uncle used to live inside the RV where her dead body was found, as confirmed by her biological mother during a press briefing.
A heartbreaking post that was shared on Friday afternoon spoke about how the victim was last seen wearing a gray work shirt with a pair of blue jeans, before later updating the post to mention that the step uncle was in custody in regards to the killing.
Rivera Jr. was arrested by the cops on Friday and booked into the Fayette County jail. He was charged with first-degree murder and aggravated criminal assault, and hiding a homicidal death.
