At least 10 people were rushed to the hospital after a stabbing spree incident arose aboard a train to the United Kingdom.
The incident took place at about 7:42 pm local time on Saturday, as shared by the British Transport Police. So far, two people have been arrested as the suspects in the tragedy, and they were identified as British nationals.
Armed police and paramedics were seen arriving at the tragedy, and that’s where 10 people were wounded.
The victims were rushed to a local hospital for treatment. So far, the cops confirmed in a press conference on Sunday that four people were later discharged, but two remain in a life-threatening condition, and there have been no fatalities. The suspects were arrested at the scene of the crime, with one holding a knife in his hand. He was tasered and yelled to the cops to please ‘let me die!’
One of the passengers on the train mentioned that he initially thought that this incident was a Halloween prank. He saw people running through the carriage and urging him to do the same as the stabbing attack unfolded.
“I put my hand on this chair, just trying to push myself forward. Then I looked at my hand and it was covered in blood,” he mentioned. There was blood everywhere, he continued, and that’s when he realized that his life was in danger. He also shared how others showed bravery, including an older man who protected a young child from being stabbed.
