The clipped plane, which was waiting to be taxied for its journey to Houston, was stationary at the time. They all felt a major bump during the taxi to the runway, but did not know if it was another plane until the captain shared that it was. The video shared online showed a rush of emergency vehicles at the scene after the incident.
Both planes turned back to the gate and all the passengers were deplaned. There were no injuries that were reported at the time among both planes’ 328 passengers and 15 crew members.
