Sydney Sweeney sparked outrage among viewers when she showed up on Fox’s pregame coverage of the World Series.
On Tuesday night, the Euphoria star voiced the intro just minutes before Game 4 between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays.
Dressed in a red hot mini dress and matching pumps, the blonde bombshell romanticized the upcoming game as she spoke to fans. ‘Why not roll out the red carpet and place their names exactly where they belong? High above the streets in shining lights- the star explained.
‘Winning, real winning, isn’t polished. It’s all bruised, it’s just so messy, and it’s imperfect. It’s everything you cannot fake. It’s earned and beautiful, all on its own,’ she mentioned in the clips of the teams played out onscreen.
‘Let’s just save the Hollywood for the ending,’- Sweeney added. ‘Welcome to Game Four of the World Series on Fox,’- she continued.
The 28-year-old star was also in attendance at the game, sharing several Instagram pictures with her pals. She sat down with Christy Martin, the woman she plays in the biopic,’ Christy’.
Following the appearance, the star was questioned by viewers on social media as to why the celeb was being featured ahead of the game.
Some suggested that it could be anyone but her, as that’s how fed up they were about seeing her onscreen again.
