President Donald Trump has confirmed that he did indeed undergo an MRI scan at the Walter Reed hospital, but he refused to speak about why he had to take the scan in the first place.
The news comes as Trump revealed on Monday that he underwent the imaging procedure while visiting the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center this month.
The 79-year-old did not disclose the purpose of the MRI, adding that it was beyond perfect. The White House did share in the past that Trump did go through advanced imaging during the evaluation.
‘I gave you all the full results’- Trump mentioned to reporters aboard Air Force One on the way to Japan when he was asked whether he had received one that day. ‘We had an MRI, MRI and the machine, you know, the whole thing, and it was just perfect!’- he mentioned.
Asked for more details, but he refused to comment on that, raising eyebrows about the real reason behind the scanning.
‘You can ask the doctors if you’d like. I think I gave you a very conclusive idea, and I don’t think anyone else has ever given you reports the way I do. And if I did not think it was going to be good, either I would let you know negatively, or I would not run, or I would do something.
But the doctors said some of the best reports for his age are some of the best reports that they’ve seen in a long time, he boasted.
