In a recent interview, Kamala Harris made it very clear that her political journey is far from over.
This is despite the fact that they suffered a major defeat against Donald Trump during the 2024 presidential elections. Last week, she confirmed during an interview with the BBC that she’s yet to make any kind of final decision about another run for the White House. However, she did leave open a possibility that she could vie for the presidency in 2028.
In the latest interview, she dismissed recent polls suggesting that others, such as The Rock, have a better shot at winning in the elections than she does.
To that, she laughed and said that she does not listen to or follow polls, and the rest should do the same. She also pointed out that she’s overcome odds in the past as well, and this appears to be no exception.
“If I listened to polls, then I would have never run for the first office or my second office,” she boldly declared. She also mentioned that she would not be sitting here today if that were the case.
Harris went on to further reiterate that her long-standing belief is that America will eventually elect a female president. She hinted that it might be her someday, and she is sure that her nieces will finally see a woman enter the White House as head of state.
