US Secretary of Health, RFK Jr is not getting much love after his bizarre comments about fertile women and men’s sperm count went viral.
This is not the first time that he’s made the headlines for speaking his mind about some very controversial topics. In the recent past, his discussions about circumcision links to autism had America in shock, while mental health experts were calling him to seek therapy as he needed it badly.
Now, his rants about sperm counts in male and young women being extra fertile these days have some people wondering what he’s smoking, as this certainly is unusual behavior.
In a meeting carried out last week at the Oval Office, he spoke about girls hitting puberty at a younger age and teenage boys having 50% of the sperm count as older men. Apparently, those facts and figures were meant to show support for his claim that IVF would be more accessible for people who wish to be parents. But the tangent he seemed to be aiming at is not lost on people.
Many felt that there was little to no reason to bring up puberty among girls if his goal was to talk about fertility to help people who are already parents or who desperately want to become parents understand.
Speaking on potential fertility in youngsters, many felt that his thoughts and plans for the Department of Health are concerning.
