Disgraced rapper Sean Diddy Combs woke up with a knife to his throat in a terrifying prison attack, his close friend shared today.

The incident reportedly took place at the Metropolitan Detention Center, where he woke up and experienced the horrifying reality of living in jail as a well-known personality.

His friend, Charlucci Finney, refused to provide more details on this front but suggested that another inmate had entered the rapper’s cell in prison and tried to come at him directly using a makeshift blade.

Finney believes that the act was likely a form of intimidation rather than an actual intention to kill, adding that if the guy wanted to harm him, he would have done it with ease.

‘Sean would have been harmed. It would only take a second to cut his throat’- he further shared. He similarly described Diddy as an unbreakable individual, noting how his Harlem roots and long resilience from life has kept him sane so far. But he continued to shared that the dangers of living here remain.

The news comes just days after Diddy’s own legal team had put out requests for his jail transfer and cited the reason being to be lack of security and constant death threats, but they refused to mention who those might be from.

Diddy is currently serving a federal sentence after his 2025 conviction on two counts of transporting persons for pr*stitution. He had been arrested in September of 2025 and later was sentenced to four years and two months, alongside a fine worth $500k including mental health program requirements.
