Jennifer Aniston was seen getting emotional during an interview recently, where she confirmed that she never had and will never have any plans to adopt a child.
The former Friends superstar actress mentioned that she went through a difficult battle for nearly two decades to have a child, but never once did she consider adopting. And the simple reason is that she wanted her little person to have her DNA inside.
The battle to have a child ended for the star a few years back after trying the IVF procedure. ‘There is a point where it’s like out of my control. There is literally nothing I can do about that’- the 56-year-old star mentioned while explaining in a sneak peek of the October 20th episode of her Armchair podcast.
‘When people say to me that I can adopt, I just walk away or change the topic because I don’t want to adopt!’- she added.
“I want my own DNA in my little person, and that’s the only way I want to have a child. I don’t know if that’s selfish or not, but whatever it is, I have always wanted it,” she continued.
Jennifer says she’s made peace with her infertility and mentioned it just was not in the plan, and she’s accepted it. ‘It’s a very emotional topic for me, especially when doctors added that’s it!’- she added.
