A bodybuilder from Brazil was stabbed to death by his jealous wife after she accused him of having an affair, authorities have confirmed.

41-year-old Valter de Vargas was stabbed at least 21 times with a kitchen knife in the jugular, torso, arms, legs, and head during a vicious fight with his partner, Carvalho Aita.

This incident took place at the couple’s home in the southern city of Chapeco on September 7. Gruesome crime scene photos showed blood spattered across the pair’s apartment and in the stairwell of their building, where the bodybuilder had fled for his life before dying and collapsing.

Carvalho had obsessively stalked her partner since March in the months leading up to this attack, trying to find proof of him cheating, the cops confirmed.

She ended up drilling so many holes in the walls of their residential apartment so she could spy on him, picture him while he was sleeping, and even roll out the most threatening messages, often ending them with emojis of a knife, the authorities shared.

Audio recordings from the cops shared more about how he would be paying for his alleged infidelity, while the bodybuilder was heard mentioning that he could not live under the threat of getting stabbed.
