US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents would be present at the 2026 Super Bowl event this year, as per a leading member of Donald Trump’s administration.
Corey Lewandowski confirmed this news just days after the rapper was announced as the Super Bowl XL halftime show performer.
During a recent appearance, Lewandowski was asked by host Benny Johnson if ICE would be making sure everything went down well and smoothly at the Super Bowl, as the main performer is known for being a strong critic of Donald Trump.
‘There is nowhere you can provide a haven to people who are in this nation illegally’- he added. ‘Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else!’- he continued.
But he did mention that there will be no leaniency and that they will find anyone and apprehend them and throw them in detention faciltiies before deporting them, if they go against the law.
‘So know that is a very real situation under this administration, which is contrary to how it used to be’- he shared.
Puerto Rican musician Bad Bunny was confirmed as the headliner performer for next year. The 31-year-old star will take the stage during the game at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on February 8, 2026.
