Prince Harry has issued a scathing reply to reports that his recent reunion with his dad, King Charles III, was distinctly formal and left him feeling more like an official visitor.
In a rare statement that was shared on Saturday, the Duke of Sussex called the sabotaging remarks categorically false. ‘Recent reporting of The Duke’s view of the tone of the meeting is categorically false’- Harry’s rep shared to People magazine today.
‘The quotes attached to him are pure invention fed, one can only assume, by sources intent on sabotaging any reconciliation between father and son. Presumably, those same sources have also chosen to disclose that gifts were exchanged’- it read.
The rep also mentioned that Harry presented a picture to his father, as Page Six had exclusively shown. Sources told the outlet that the royal went to that meeting armed with pictures and videos of his kids: Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Harry’s rep added to People of the gesture: ‘While we would have preferred such details to remain private, for the sake of clarity, we can confirm that a framed picture was handed over; however, the click did not feature the Duke and Duchess’- they shared.
