The possible remains of accused child killer Travis Decker have indicated that he was the one behind the murder of his children.
Now, his remains were found in the wilderness, and cops believe he met a grisly end. The veteran and father of three was missing since early June after he allegedly suffocated his own kids to death. This includes daughters Paitlyn, Evelyn, and Olivia, who were between the ages of 5 to 9 years.
Earlier that same week, the police shared how they found his remains with Sheriff Michael Morrison, and he was seen speaking with News Nation about their grim discovery.
As per the cops, they found two intact feet, clothing, and other bodily remains strewn out on the Wenatchee Mountains that are believed to have been due to wild animals attacking him.
Officers reported how they noticed some bizarre abnormalities in the steep and wooded terrain while they reviewed the drone footage, and detectives were later airlifted to that location.
It’s not yet certain that this discovery is related to the accused dad, as investigators wait for an actual report on this incident from the State Patrol’s crime lab. The cops need DNA confirmation, but they do feel it’s a great find and a possible closure to the tragic family case.
