Liberal CNN analyst Van Jones recently revealed on Saturday how he received a text message from conservative activist Charlie Kirk that left him shocked, just one day before his assassination.

‘Hey Van, I mean it! I would love to have you on my show to have a respectful conversation about crime and race!’- Kirk added in his message, which Jones shared through his Instagram.

Jones, who mentioned more about how he and Kirk were ‘beefing hard’ in the last week of the Turning Point USA founder’s life, was clearly very moved by the message.

‘I would be a gentleman as I know you would be as well!’- the slain 31-year-old conservative activist added. ‘We can disagree about these issues agreeably,’- he continued.

‘Charlie Kirk and I were not friends at all, the CNN analyst added, and noted that this message really shocked him to the core.

Jones mentioned more about how he was not too sure if he should be the one sharing this message after Kirk’s death, but now thinks it’s so important to do so. The news comes just one day before Charlie Kirk will be laid to rest tomorrow, as many high-profile individuals are expected to attend.
