President Trump was seen making a thinly veiled dig at Prince Harry in his powerful speech during Wednesday’s lavish state banquet at Windsor Castle.
In the formal address made before 150 esteemed dignitaries, the commander-in-chief seemed to heap praise on King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Princess Kate, as well as the special relationship that the US boasts with the UK.

While praising the Prince of Wales, the head of state said to Charles that he had raised such a remarkable son with zero mention of the king’s estranged youngest son, who ended up quitting royal life in 2020 and moved to America.
Trump then highlighted how the king’s philanthropic work in a comment that could be seen as a subtle swipe at the Duke of Sussex.
‘We had a very sick nation one year back. And today, I believe we are the hottest country anywhere in the world!’- the President shared. He then added how, together, the US and the UK had done more good for humanity than any two nations in all of history.
