A transgender influencer whose image became a viral meme in no time after appearing on a dating and relationship podcast is now sounding the alarm about how society is too sensitive and declining masculinity.
‘I feel like it’s a little bit of an out-of-body experience, or you’re just like there’s, ‘No way that’s me. It’s a crazy feeling. And honestly, I am still very new to being viral!’- Ali C. Lopez mentioned in a recent interview with Fox News after turning into an internet sensation or meme.
Lopez added how she was once an obscure influencer and suddenly became the subject of a meme making fun of her appearance seemingly overnight, after showing up on the podcast. ‘Whatever!’ in which feminism, gender roles, and traditional values were debated so much.
The woman explained to Fox News Digital how dating in the modern era comes with its fair share of difficulties and hardships. This includes a declining rate of masculinity in society.
“This is getting out of control,”- Lopez mentioned. For instance, she ideally wants to find someone who can handle things that have been ascribed to her in the past as classically masculine like fixing flat tires and whatnot. But right now, that’s not easy to find these days, and men fail to behave like they should.
‘At least for me, you better be able to do more than what my dad can do!’- she continued. She also shared how calling her dad for things instead of her lover means he’s just not worth it. ‘Like, why are you here in the first place? Stop wasting my time!’
