Robert Redford had to fight away some of the most famous and leading women in Hollywood, according to a new report that has been confirmed by insider sources.
The news comes after the celebrated star’s death yesterday, which occurred while he slept peacefully at his residence.
Some of those leading women included leading names from the industry, such as Jane Fonda and a very infatuated Barbra Streisand.
The screen legend left the industry in tears after the confirmation reports of his death arose online. Stars like Meryl Streep were also said to have a huge crush on the leading actor while they were busy filming the movie ‘Out of Africa!’
The actor’s loving personality and charismatic charm made everyone fall in love with him, as shown by a stream of doting tributes from his leading ladies that includes co-stars like Demi Moore and Michelle Pfeiffer.
Streisand explained how she took it upon herself to persuade Redford to star with her in the 1973 classic movie The Way We Were, and was so infatuated with the heartthrob, as per writer Robert Hofler. But Redford always wore two athletic supporters to keep himself safe from these women while filming the movie ‘The Way We Were’ with Streisand, who was speculated to have had romances with her co-actors over the years.
If that was not enough, he pushed the co-stars to wear bikinis to ensure the scenes were pretty G-rated.
