Charlie Kirk’s assassin remains at large after a person of interest was taken into custody and then released.
This marks the second individual to be detained and let go by the cops who are scrambling to find the conservative icon’s killer.
‘The subject who was in custody has now been released after careful interrogation by law enforcement,’- the FBI Director Kash Patel shockingly mentioned.
‘Our investigation continues and we will continue to release the information in the interest of transparency,’ he mentioned. The news comes just two hours after Patel confirmed in a tweet that Kirk’s killer was captured, and the Utah Governor held a press briefing moments later, sharing security footage that led them to the person of interest.
The mother of the person of interest, who was wrongly detained, has spoken out against the matter, adding how her son was so shaken by the shooting and then by his detention.
She further praised her son as a great man who had been traveling to the Utah Valley Campus on Wednesday, only to watch Charlie Kirk as he was a wonderful individual. ‘He was attending like any other college kid. He listened to him and was his biggest fan’- she shared.
