The president of Russia, Vladimir Putin and American president Donald Trump have reportedly agreed to meet in the upcoming few days.
The news was confirmed yesterday by a Kremlin aide and comes just days after Trump called Russia a major threat to the United States of America.
‘At the suggestion of the American side, an agreement was reached about holding a bilateral meeting of the highest level in the upcoming days. This would be a meeting between Putin and Trump, the aide mentioned.
‘We are now beginning some concrete preparations together with colleagues in the US,’ he mentioned in the comments.
While no other details were shared, including the venue of the meeting, sources did indicate how a neutral location like the United Arab Emirates might be a possible site for a meetingwith Trump.
Before this announcement, Putin had declare during a press briefing that no such agreement was met. He did decalre how he had nothing against it, if it was on the cards. But shortly after that, a Kremlin aide did share that the final phase of negotiations were taking place. And now it has been confirmed that the meeting would arise between both sides to reduce tensions.
