Tragic reports have confirmed the death of a woman found dead on a boat in Montauk on Tuesday.
Sources shared how the woman was identified by the authorities as the beloved local designer of Manhattan, who used to spend her summers working on the East End.
Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra was found in an unconscious state aboard a vessel that was docked at the Montauk Yacht Club at about 12 am. This was shared by the Suffolk County Police.
The 33-year-old star, who went by the name Martha Nolan professionally and in social circles, was confirmed dead at the scene by first responders rushing to attend calls of an emergency.
Her cause of death is still under investigation and will be determined by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Other haunting reports spoke about how members of the Montauk Yacht Club heard screaming from the docks during the later hours of Monday. This led to panic amongst some captains who went to investigate where the sound was coming from, one club member shared.
Other club members shared more details about how fondly they recall the deceased, referring to her as a wonderful member of the community. The news of her death has left her mother in shock and numb with grief.
