Forensic experts began questioning the American government’s account of what happened on the last night of Jeffrey Epstein’s life.
This comes after a new review of CCTV footage displayed a mysterious object shape near his prison cell, just hours before he passed away.
Nearly 11 hours of video from the cell’s exterior was taken into consideration at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York and was finally shared this month.
It was six years after the pedophile financier was found lifeless. After he was found unresponsive inside the jail cell, coroners at the time ruled that Epstein had ended up hanging himself, but no other details on this were added.
But the latest analysis conducted by CBS News has raised some more questions in terms of what all went down that night. They are doubting if the accused actually took his own life, or perhaps there was more to the matter than what is being shown.
The shadowy orange object was seen moving up the stairs to Epstein’s cell block at the New York prison at about 10:40 pm, which is the night before he was found dead. So far, federal investigators shared how the blob that’s seen briefly was a corrections officer carrying linen or inmate clothing, but forensic experts spoke to CBS about the chances of it being another inmate.
