President Trump signaled he could consider pardoning Jeffrey Epstein’s lover, Ghislaine Maxwell, in what was called a shocking move that could enrage his entire MAGA base.
The country’s head of state shared how he considered that decision as of right now, but did have full authority to do so, if needed.
This news has raised plenty of concern as it comes at a time when many cannot help but wonder why the president would take on such a controversial decision, as she’s been linked to trafficking in connection to Epstein.
Also, the fact that many are accusing Trump of hiding behind closed doors and not releasing the files due to his name being mentioned several times is another point worth mentioning.
The comments were made on Friday while he was departing from the White House for Scotland.
‘It’s not something that I have thought about, but I am allowed to do it, but it’s not something on my mind right now’- he shared when asked by a reporter. The DOJ shared how he would sit down with the late disgraced financier’s accomplice to find out what she knows, as it tried to quell the fallout regarding the non-release of these files.
