Coldplay frontman Chris Martin had just warned fans that they might be put on big screens at their gigs after the viral incident of Astronomer CEO Andy Byron’s secret affair went viral.
Footage showed the CEO cuddling with his employee on the band’s kiss cam. Byron, who is married, was said to be involved with his company’s newly appointed head of HR, Kristin Cabot.
The duo was shocked and not happy when the camera caught them getting intimate and enjoying some private moments at a public event.
A Coldplay fan shared a clip of the moment on TikTok, and many people realized who the duo were, and that’s when things started to go from bad to worse.
When the band returned to the stage on Saturday, Martin issued a warning to fans that they might end up on the jumbotron and not to get shocked or offended if and when that does occur.
His message was shared on the same day that Byron resigned from his job at the leading tech giant after footage went viral. ‘We would like to say hello to some of you in the crowd and put some of you in the spotlight’- the superstar continued. He also mentioned how it’s a common practice and nothing new.
