An American Idol executive and her husband were found murdered inside their $5 million Los Angeles mansion.

Robin Kaye, who is an award-winning music supervisor for the hit show, and her partner, Thomas Deluca, were both found brutally shot to death at their home in Encino on Monday at about 2:33 pm.

Officers were seen rushing to the residence after receiving a distress call for a welfare check, but when they arrived, they found Kaye and her partner both shot in the head.

As per the authorities, there was a lot of blood present at the front entrance of the couple’s residence. They had to break through a window to enter the property.

The sudden deaths are now being investigated as a double case of homicide. The motive is yet to be known, as per the police.

Police shared how they had been called to the home in the past after a suspect was trying to break in, as per the outlet. Neighbors shared that they did see a man who might have been armed hopping a fence on the tree-lined street in the ritzy neighborhood of California.
