Tragic reports are speaking about an incident where witnesses described the horror as a plane violently crashed to the ground after pilots were seen waving goodbye to the children.
The small jet crashed on Sunday, as confirmed by the UK police. The plane went down shortly after 4 pm when it departed from the Southend Airport in southeast England for the Netherlands.
Essex police mentioned that it was so sad to confirm that there are no survivors, as witnesses described the horror unfolding before their eyes when the jet came spiraling downwards in front of them.
While the identities of the victims are yet to be revealed, they were all said to be foreign nationals. The investigators are now interviewing dozens of witnesses and detectives as well, and forensic teams are working hard to design an accurate representation of what exactly happened at the time.
The airport was shut down until further notice. Video footage showed the 39-foot-long plane in flames with a plume of thick black smoke at Southend on Sea.
Police evacuated the nearby golf club and rugby club as a precaution. As per the BBC, the plane was a Beechcraft B200.
