More reports about flash flooding hitting the state of Texas are now taking center stage.
According to reports from local media outlets, the country is just reeling from the aftermath of the recent tragic flooding, and the thought of more arriving soon has left authorities on alert.
Exhausted volunteers are still trying to find the remains of many victims who were wiped out in the disaster that took center stage on Sunday when they were told to evacuate through the latest alert.
It warned that heavy rains were expected during the day, and they would cause the waterways to surge for many. Affected areas included the hard-hit regions of Kerr County and many other locations near Texas’s Hill Country.
People there are already seeing river levels rising with storms set to bring as much as six to 10 inches of rain.
Areas upstream of the Guadalupe are now said to be evacuating, with search and rescue missions getting called off till Monday.
As per the police department of Kerrville, they issued an order at nearly 8 am local time that spoke about how all search crews needed to evacuate the river corridor until further notice.
Any volunteer search parties inside the river corridor need to pay attention to the warning and the possibility of flash floods hitting soon, as stated in the alert.
