Former US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle seem to be giving fans a major shocker after rumors regarding their divorce took center stage.
The duo is teaming up for a new show with Seinfeld creator Larry David, and it’s going to be airing on HBO soon.
The very unlikely team will be collaborating on a still untitled sketch comedy for the network, which is bound to explore American history, as per media outlets.
President and Mrs. Obama wish to honor America’s 250th anniversary and celebrate the unique history of the nation on this special occasion, the network mentioned on Thursday.
They also shared how the six-episode series would be written by David and his longtime partner, Jeff Schaffer, who is also set to direct the show.
Barack shared how he’s sat down with some of the world’s most difficult leaders and wrestled with some major problems, he added in the statement.
However, he made it clear that nothing had prepared him for working with Larry David. Fans are excited for the new show and what it might entail, while others feel like it’s finally going to put all the rumors to rest about the famous American couple separating.
