A female student pilot was killed when two single-engine planes smashed into one another mid-air on Tuesday morning.
The collision took place at about 8:45 am when the two pilots were said to be busy practicing takeoffs and landings inside their small Cessna planes.
The tragedy arose at the Harv’s Air Pilot training school, which is located in Steinbach in the province of Manitoba, Canada.
The school’s president shared more details about how it seemed that both of those pilots were trying to land at the same time and collided several hundred yards from the small runway.
The phones were equipped with radios, and it does appear right now that neither pilot didn’t see the other approaching.
The officials are still confused as to how they both got so close together and are now waiting for the details from the investigation to be released to get further clarity.
Authorities mentioned how the victims have yet to be identified to the public, but their loved ones were informed about this tragedy.
One of the pilots was said to be only 20 years old, and her family is now mourning the death of a loving and pure soul who used to spread joy all around.
