Kanye West and his wife have reportedly been banned for life by a Venetian boat rental firm after indecent exposure linked to the couple arose last week.
The pair sparked major controversy in the past week after being spotted enjoying their bizarre private moment aboard a water taxi in the city of Venice. This is where the rapper exposed his bare rear in front of tourists who claim to be disgusted by the act.
And that’s when calls for the couple to be arrested arose as many felt such behavior was not welcomed in Italy which is famous for hosting tourists with open arms.
Moreover, the complaints had to do with how the pair just found it okay to wear sheer clothing on the streets and take part in indecency without taking the community into consideration.
Images of Kanye seated on the boat with his bare rare went viral while his wife placed her head on his lap. Therefore, the company whose boat the pair hired ended up putting a ban on the couple which means in the future, they won’t be allowed to enter the boats.
A statement was released regarding the matter and in that, the pair was condemned to a serious extent and told they were no longer welcome after this. The company also mentioned how they were unaware of what had taken place that day and therefore were late in issuing a statement and taking swift action against them.
But thanks to the paparazzi, they were made aware of what was taking place.
“Our driver was too busy controlling the vehicle and making sure the vessel didn’t come head-to-head with others in the vicinity. Hence, there was no one else on board but the driver and the couple”- the statement went on to mention.
But after a thorough investigation on the matter, the company has finally reached the conclusion of not allowing Mr. and Mrs. West again.
The company is famous for hosting a long list of celebs from the Hollywood industry including JLo, Ben Affleck, Lady Gaga, Harry Styles, and even Florence Pugh.
The news comes amid great criticism for the couple to find it alright to flash their assets in public, as more calls to condemn indecency in public by celebs arise. Sources have similarly spoken about fining the duo 309 Euros but that’s yet to come into effect.
