Dan decided to help the 99-year-old, who told him he’d eaten better during the war, and gave him his number.

Dan asked him to call him with his shopping list the next day.

When Dan asked Norman how he was getting home, he told him he was driving.

Dan wrote: “He was so grateful and said, ‘I’ll live like a king until I’m 100 now’.”

He then urged everyone to stop selfishly clearing the shelves as people like Norman can’t go out every day to buy basic food items.

He concluded his post: “I feel so happy today knowing Norman has food tonight, but how many more Normans are there right now because of the most selfish, disgusting people in this world.”

The post has now gone viral on the Internet and it is a great lesson to those who are clearing the shelves without even thinking of others.
